The festival was a success, mostly because people just wanted to see how far humor could stretch.. Fact: Parody trailers can be like a fine wine; they get better with age unless someone decides to age them poorly with cringe-worthy humor. But hey, who doesn't love a good chuckle at the expense of a classic?.
- Headline: It's Official: Knicks at Bottom of N.B.A.. Impact: The Knicks hitting rock bottom sparked a wave of motivational speeches and self-help books for sports teams on how to 'rise from the ashes.' Spoiler alert: they didn't work, but they did lead to a spike in sales for motivational posters featuring kittens.. Fact: The Knicks have been in a downward spiral for so long that even their fans have started to build a bunker in case they need to weather the storm of another losing season. Hope springs eternal, right?.
