Impact: If Genuine Risk's foal had been a champion racehorse, it could have set off a breeding frenzy that altered the lineage of racehorses for decades. Maybe we would have seen a future where unicorns roamed the tracks... or just more overpriced horses with fancy names.. Fact: Genuine Risk is one of the few fillies to win the Kentucky Derby, which must have made her male counterparts very jealous. I mean, who wouldn't want to be a horse with a title like that?.
- Headline: Jersey Numbers and Fan Favorites. Impact: The jersey rivalry between Carter and Johnson could have led to a world where all sports teams were forced to wear single-digit jerseys, resulting in a bizarre fashion trend that made everyone look like they were stuck in an 80s workout video.. Fact: In the grand scheme of sports history, jersey numbers are just a way to identify players. But hey, at least they didn't go with Roman numerals – that would have made for some confusing scoreboards!.
