Lioness
Lioness follows a young Marine, Cruz Manuelos, whose raw talent and stubborn grit land her in a covert CIA program built around women operating undercover. Guided by Joe, a driven case officer juggling leadership and personal pressures, Cruz is trained to infiltrate dangerous circles from the inside. As missions blur moral lines and loyalties are tested, the team faces high-stakes choices where a single mistake can unravel everything.
After a volatile but promising start in the Marines, Cruz Manuelos is quietly approached for an assignment that offers no public recognition and little room for error: joining the CIA Lioness Engagement Team. The unit places women in positions where they can gain access to targets others cannot, using patience, charm, and careful tradecraft as much as firepower. Joe, the program’s hard-charging leader, takes Cruz under her wing and pushes her through relentless preparation, while also managing the political expectations above her and the human cost within her own life. As Cruz steps into a new identity, she must learn to control her instincts, read people quickly, and survive intense scrutiny. Each operation raises the stakes, forcing the team to navigate shifting alliances, conflicting priorities, and the psychological strain of living a double life in a world where trust is scarce.
