Synopsis

Detective Nick Burkhardt investigates brutal crimes across Portland, Oregon, believing he knows the worst humanity can do. Everything changes when he begins seeing ordinary people transform into terrifying, animalistic figures and learns he is a Grimm, descended from a lineage tasked with keeping order between humans and Wesen, creatures drawn from old folklore living in plain sight. Guided by clues from his family’s past, Nick works to understand his new abilities while keeping his job and personal life intact. His investigations take on a new dimension as each case reveals hidden rules, rival factions, and long-standing grudges within the Wesen world. Nick finds unexpected support from his partner and a reformed Wesen ally, but secrecy strains his closest relationships and draws attention from those who fear or want to control a Grimm. As the stakes rise, Nick must decide what kind of guardian he’s willing to become.
