Overview

Leverage follows a tight-knit crew of expert con artists who turn their talents toward helping people with no power and no options. Led by former insurance investigator Nathan Ford, the team mixes brains, charm, tech skills, and brute force to expose corruption and take down ruthless executives, crooked officials, and predatory institutions. Each job plays like a high-stakes puzzle, blending action, humor, and clever misdirection to deliver payback where the system fails.

Synopsis

After walking away from a straight-laced career, former insurance investigator Nathan Ford assembles an elite crew of specialists: a master thief, a smooth-talking grifter, a brilliant hacker, and a formidable retrieval expert. Together, they run carefully planned cons and heists aimed at people who abuse wealth and authority, especially when ordinary victims have nowhere else to turn. Every case demands research, disguises, social engineering, and improvisation as plans collide with unexpected obstacles and dangerous opponents. The team’s success depends on trust, timing, and the ability to read people as well as security systems. While their missions target corporate and governmental wrongdoing, the crew also has to manage internal tensions, complicated pasts, and the personal cost of living outside the law. Balancing suspense with wit, the series builds momentum through inventive schemes, shifting alliances, and a growing sense of purpose as the group becomes a family.
