Overview

In suburban Queens, delivery driver Doug Heffernan and his sharp witted wife Carrie juggle marriage, friends, and everyday mishaps. Their routine gets even louder when Carrie’s eccentric father Arthur becomes part of the household

Synopsis

Set in Queens, New York, the sitcom follows Doug Heffernan, an easygoing delivery driver, and Carrie, his ambitious paralegal wife, as they navigate the push and pull of married life. Much of the comedy comes from their mismatched temperaments, Doug’s tight knit circle of buddies, and Carrie’s blunt honesty. The biggest complication at home is Arthur Spooner, Carrie’s unpredictable father, who moves in and turns small problems into full scale chaos. Episodes mix domestic squabbles, workplace frustrations, and neighborhood antics into fast, joke driven stories. Over the series, the couple’s loyalty is tested, then reaffirmed, as they learn to compromise without losing their edge
