Synopsis

Set in a friendly forest neighborhood, Franklin centers on a young turtle experiencing the small but important challenges of growing up. He spends his days with a circle of animal friends, including Bear, Rabbit, Goose, and others, as they play games, attend school, and explore their surroundings. Franklin is curious and kind, but he is still learning how to cope when he feels scared, jealous, left out, or unsure of what to do. Through simple adventures and classroom experiences, he practices honesty, responsibility, patience, and empathy. Guidance from caring adults and the give-and-take of friendship help him understand rules, make amends after mistakes, and try again when things do not go as planned.
