Overview

Set in early 1980s Los Angeles, Hollywood stuntman Colt Seavers turns his daredevil day job into the perfect cover for a second career. Between car flips and high falls on film sets, he takes on bail recovery assignments that demand grit, quick thinking, and a strong moral compass. With help from his fellow stunt crew, Colt tracks down fugitives, navigates shady schemes, and tries to bring people in safely while keeping his own life in one piece.

Synopsis

Colt Seavers is a working Hollywood stuntman who knows how to take a hit, drive anything fast, and land on his feet. Off camera, those same skills make him an effective bail recovery agent, and he quietly supplements his income by tracking down people who skipped court. Each case pulls Colt and his stunt team into a different corner of Southern California, from backlot illusions and movie locations to real streets where the danger is not choreographed. Along the way they deal with con artists, desperate runaways, and criminals willing to fight to stay free. Colt relies on his experience, contacts, and a steady sense of right and wrong as he tries to solve problems with minimal harm. Balancing studio work, tight deadlines, and risky pursuits, the team learns that the hardest stunts are often the ones that happen after the cameras stop rolling.
