Synopsis

Set around a bright, family-friendly view of small-town life, Annette centers on Annette McCloud, a kind, independent orphan raised in the country. When she is invited to live with her well-to-do relatives, Uncle Archie and Aunt Lila, she suddenly finds herself in a comfortable home where manners, appearances, and social standing seem to matter as much as character. Annette’s honest, straightforward nature often clashes with the expectations of her new environment, leading to comedic situations and heartfelt moments as she learns how to navigate school, friendships, and family rules. The household is also shaped by a no-nonsense housekeeper who becomes an important steady presence. As Annette builds friendships with other kids and grows closer to her relatives, the series focuses on belonging, confidence, and finding a place where she can be accepted for who she is.
